Trying to Sleep

NATALIE CONDRAC is currently an art student at Ohio University. She typically works with oils and enjoys creating large-scale surrealism pieces. She has always been fascinated with painting nightmares and inner fears. She finds that surrealism appropriately communicates the dark secrets and thoughts that come alive at night when we close our eyes. In her pieces, you will find the monster under the bed and the ghost in the basement. Condrac claims that it is better to face what frightens you head on than pretend they don’t exist.
